Full Swing instruction is provided by VJ Trolio. A Southern Miss Graduate who became the first person in the school’s history to qualify and play in the NCAA Championship. Trolio’s research into the game of golf has led to the creation of THE PUTTING ARC and “The Final Missing Piece of Ben Hogan’s Secret Puzzle”, a ground breaking book uncovering Hogan’s swing fundamentals.
Trolio has produce over a dozen high school state champions during his years at Old Waverly. He works with players of all ability levels, from the beginner to the PGA Tour.
Short Game instruction is provided by Tim Yelverton. A Southern Miss Graduate as well, who became the second person in the school’s history to qualify and play in the NCAA Championship. Yelverton’s comprehensive study of the short game has led to a complete solution from 100 yards to the bottom of the cup.
Yelverton works with players of all ability levels, from the beginner to the touring professional. He has had remarkable success with collegiate players and top ranked juniors.
